2nd Lt Howard T. Sheely was a graduate of Central High School and had attended Syracuse University for two years. He was employed as a salesman for Continental Can Company.He enlisted in Syracuse, New York on 10 July 1942. He was commissioned in February 1943 at Fort Knox.
He was wounded on March 28th and died the next day.
The two bottom pictures show Howard and his wife Jean on their wedding day.
