A graduate of Colton Union High school with class of 1939, Corporal Graham was employed at the California Portland Cement Co. plant in Colton, and at the Lockheed aircraft plant in Burbank.

He was inducted in Santa Ana, California on 15 March 1943 and was sent overseas in August, 1943. Corporal Graham's last station before being sent overseas was at Columbia, S.C. He trained at Santa Ana Army Air Base, Denver and at a base in Florida before being sent to South Carolina.

2nd Lt. Jack A. Willard:
"Right engine on fire flak hit. Went down in flames, exploded on tho way down. No chutes were seen. We followed it all the way down. Hit was just before the bomb run."
