Pfc Louis J. Giusti graduated from West Catholic High School. When his parents had problems at home he went to his aunt, Mrs. Regina C. Winters. She got custody over him and treated him as if he were her own child.

He enlisted in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 26 January 1943.

Pfc Giusti was reported wounded in action in Aachen, Germany and died in hospital in the Netherlands. The exact location is not known.
