Pfc Frank Sessa attended St. Francis College.

He enlisted on 20 February 1942 at Fort Dix, New Jersey. He joined his unit from a replacement depot on 15 August 1944.

He was reported missing in action on 4 October 1944 and declared killed in action on 8 October 1944.

His brother Louis served with the army in the Pacific.
