More information

Pfc Dominick Posillipo enlisted in New York City, New York on October 28th, 1942.

He was killed in a foxhole somewhere not far from the edge of a forest some time between 13:30 and 14:30 hours. A German grenade - most likely mortar - hit nearby his foxhole and wounded him on the back of his head and neck area and probably also on some other spots. His body could not be removed because his unit had to retreat the following night.
