Pfc Robert D. Watts enlisted at Camp Blanding Jacksonville, Florida on 10 January 1942. He was stationed in Panama with the 550th PIB until February 1944.He served in the campaigns in Italy, Southern France, the Battle of the Bulge and Operation Varsity.
He was the oldest son with 3 brothers - all of whom served their country - and 7 sisters.
