Salvatore S. Panepinto was a professional football player with the Long Island Indians in New York and for a time was employed in the Kingsbury Ordnance Plant in Kingsbury.He enlisted in the Army at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana on 21 March 1942.
A brother was killed while serving with the Army in India in 1943.
