Pvt John T. Mullen graduated from Memorial High School.He enlisted at Fort Dix, New Jersey on 5 February 1942.
He was already a veteran from the North African, Sicilian and Italian campaigns.
He was killed by artillery fire.
Pvt Mullen was initially buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Molenhoek near Nijmegen on 23 September 1944.
