Cpl Kenneth L. Henderson attended the University of North Carolina before he enlisted at Fort Jackson, South Carolina on 11 July 1942.He served as a demolition expert and was deployed with his unit from Fort Bragg to Africa, Sicily, Italy, England, the Netherlands and Belgium.
