Cpl Clarence V. Sanders attended high school for 1 year and was a driver before he enlisted at Fort Custer, Michigan on 14 November 1941.
He was killed in action during a reconnaissance patrol. While on this patrol, the jeep he was driving struck a land mine which killed him.
