More information

Pfc Eugene M. Raby graduated from Old Fort High School and was a welder.

He enlisted at Camp Croft, South Carolina, on 18 March 1943 and volunteered for the Army Air Corps to become a pilot before he volunteered for the paratroopers. He was sent overseas in August 1944.

He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Grand Failly, France.
