Pfc. Philip F. Voltura enlisted on 3 December 1942 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.He attended 2 years of high school and was a sales clerk before he enlisted.
He went overseas on 29 September 1944 and fought in the Battle of the Bulge and Germany before he drowned two days after the end of World War II.
