Sgt Raymond E. Porter graduated from Boothwyn High School in June 1942. He was employed by the Sun Oil Co.

He enlisted in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 2 March 1943.
Sgt Porter was reported wounded in action on 21 December 1944 and taken prisoner. He died in a German hospital.
