Sgt Andrew Brown enlisted in Newark, New Jersey on 23 September 1942.Sgt Brown was reported wounded in action, suffering form a severe fraction wound of his head. He was initially buried in a temporary grave at Henri-Chapelle on 13 March 1945. After being disinterred and after the cemetery was given a permanent status, he was given his final resting place in August 1948.
