S/Sgt Paul P. Anderson graduated from Coffee High School in Florence Alabama in 1940.He enlisted in December 1941 and first served in the Quartermaster Corps. He transferred to the paratroopers in 1943. He was sent overseas in January 1944 and participated in the D-Day invasion of Normandy.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Zon, the Netherlands.
