Pfc Leo R. Rudy graduated from Bellingham High School in 1939 and was employed at Bamby Bakery.He enlisted at Fort Lewis, Washington on 5 March 1942 and was sent overseas in May 1943 and fought in Sicily, Italy, Normandy, the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
