More information

Pvt Joe S. Esquibel was a farmer.

He enlisted in Santa Fe, New Mexico on 25 September 1944.

The history of the 11th Cavalry Group mentions the loss of a M-24 tank of the 36th Squadron to enemy 88 mm gun fire on 2 April 1945. Since no other losses are reported for that day, it can be assumed that Pvt Esquibel was one of the casualties.

Joe Esquibel is buried next to his brother Daniel.
