Albert A. Moretti was a bartender before he enlisted on 12 March 1942 at Fort Niagara, ew York. He was sent overseas in June 1944.He was married to Rose Koury on 1 February 1942.
He was reported wounded in action in September 1944 and returned to duty after hospitalization. He was awarded the Purple Heart Medal a first time for this wound.
