Pvt Charles L. Urich was a bus driver for the Cincinnati, Newport & Covington Railway Company.He was married to Phyllis June Peterson on 5 August 1940 in Muscatine, Iowa.
He enlisted on 9 January 1944 and was sent overseas in December 1944.
Pvt Urich was killed by a shell fragment in the chest.
