Pvt Dino Ranella arrived in New York on 6 August 1936 and worked at Michael Sportswear.

His naturalisation was obtained on 7 January 1943 in Abilene, Texas when he was already serving at Camp Barkeley, Texas.

He was killed by artillery shell fragments all over his body.
