Pvt Paul J. Flannelly graduated from Moosic High School in 1941 and was employed by the Gibbs Peoples Drug Store.He enlisted on 16 March 1943 and trained at Camp Hood, Texas, Pine Camp, New York and Indiantown Gap. He was sent overseas in February 1944.
At the time of his death, his brother John was recovering from wounds at home, received in Italy on 6 January 1944.
