Pfc Michael J. Pender graduated from John Hay High School in June 1942 and was employed at Parker Appliance Company.He enlisted in Cleveland, Ohio, on 11 April 1943 and was sent overseas in June 1944.
He was killed by a head wound from small arms fire.
