Capt Franklin H. Nichoson attended Oregon State College for three years and was a clerk at the Western Loggers and Machinery Company.He joined the Army in Portland, Oregon on 4 August 1941.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Grand Failly, France.
