Ernest C. Barkholz graduated from Arthur Hill Trade School and worked for the Lufkin Rule plant.He enlisted enlisted in October 1943 and was sent overseas to England in March 1944. He was sent to France in mid July 1944.
Pvt Barkholz was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Andilly, France.
