His wife died on 4 July 1944 in Illinois, after an illness of seven years. They had 3 children who were raised in an orphanage.T/5 Chester P. Seitz was born as Chester Paul Vincent but was adopted by his mother's husband (Oscar Seitz) therefore he changed his name to Chester Paul Seitz.
T/5 Chester P Seitz was killed as a result of a gunshot wound.
