Pfc Harmon Senn enlisted in October 1940. He received training Fort Riley, Junction City, Kansas, Fort Knox, Kentucky, Camp Polk, Louisiana and Camp Cook, California.

He was driving a jeep to retrieve injured men when he was hit by a mortar fragment in the neck and bled to death.
