Pvt Raymond J. Laliberte was a welder, employed by the Electric Boat Company.

He enlisted in Hartford, Connecticut on 16 February 1943.

His cause of death was drowing.

His brother Wilfred was reported missing in action on 27 November 1943 and later presumed dead. He is remembered on the Tablets of the Missing at North Africa American Cemetery , Tunisia.
