Pfc Roy W. Ehrler was married to Frieda Betchart on 9 October 1939.He enlisted at Fort Lewis, Washington on 15 May 1944 and received his training at Little Rock, Arkansas and Fort Benning, Georgia.
He was officially declared dead one year and one day after he was reported missing in action.
