S/Sgt Eric T. Olson attended high school for four years and was a driver at the Great Island Holding Corporation before he enlisted at Fort Jay, New York on 26 July 1941.He was killed by small arms fire to his stomach.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Solers, France.
