Pvt David A. Hall graduated from Plymouth High School.He enlisted on 5 May 1943 in Indianapolis, Indiana and was sent to North Africa in October 1943.
He was wounded in action on 21 January 1944 at the Rapido river battle in Italy for which he was awarded the Purple Heart Medal for the first time.
