S/Sgt Earl K. Green volunteered for the US Army in Tacoma, Washington on 2 October 1942.

He attended high school for 3 years.

He was officially declared death one year and one day after he went missing and was presumed death. At that time his unit was fighting in the vicinity of Offwiller. His remains were never recovered.
