Cpl Thomas J. Dwyer graduated from Bishop Laughlin High School in 1937 and from St John's University in 1941.He enlisted at Camp Upton, Yaphank, New York on 16 January 1942.
He was initially buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of, Chelons Sur Marne, France.
