Pfc George E. Siglin was employed as a clerk by Albert Ruff before he enlisted in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania on 29 April 1943. He trained at a camp in North Carolina.He was accidentally killed about 4 PM. He had been making an inventory of some ammunition stored at an ammunition depot when a stack of ammunition nearby exploded.
His brother James H. Siglin is also buried at Margraten Cemetery
A third brother, Sgt Carl Siglin, served in England.
