More information

T/5 Donald R. Lloyd joined the National Guard in Tyrone, Pennsylvania on 17 February 1941. He attended high school for 2 years and was a chauffeur in civil life.

On his cross at Margraten is mistakenly stated that T/5 Lloyd's unit, the 6th RCN SQ, was a part of the 6th Infantry Division. This division, however, served in the Pacific area. T/5 Lloyd served with the 6th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron, that was a part of the 6th Cavalry Group.
