T/Sgt William A. Sanders Jr. attended college for two years and was a lithographer.He joined the Regular Army on 4 October 1939.
He was lightly wounded in action on 10 July 1944.
His daughter Mary Frances was born one month before he was killed.
Note: The pictures show T/Sgt Sanders with some other members of his platoon. It was taken in Stadtbredimus, Luxembourg in September 1944. The following day an artillery round hit that exact table.
