Pfc Maurice F. Hogan was a plumber and member of the local union.He enlisted at Camp Blanding, Florida on 17 September 1943. He left for overseas service on 20 May 1944.
Pfc Hogan was awarded the Bronze Star Medal posthumously meritorious achivement in connection with military operations in France, Belgium and Germany fro 2 August to 27 September 1944.
Pfc Maurice F. Hogan was first buried at the Temporary American Cemetery of Foy, Belgium.
