Cpl Kenneth R. Durham graduated from Berkley High School in 1938 and was employed by the Commonwealth Brass Company in Detroit, Michigan.

He enlisted in Detroit, Michigan on 18 June 1941.

He was buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Foy, Belgium.

His brother Leo also served in Europe. They had to opportunity to meet on 30 October 1944 on the occasion of his birthday.
