Capt Roger J. Mc Donough graduated from Flushing High School. He worked for the Alexander Smith & Carpet Company as a salesmanHe attended Officers Candidate School at Fort Knox, Kentucky.
He was killed instantly when the vehicle in which he was riding was struck by enemy machine gun fire.
