Pvt Kermit White graduated from Granite High School. He worked for the U.P. R.R. Company and had lived in Los Angeles for 9 years previous to entering the army.He entered service on 3 July 1944 in Los Angeles. He trained at Sheppard Fieldd, Texas and Fort Meade, Maryland.
He had been overseas since February 1945.
