Pfc George C Maringer attended high school for 2 years and was a typesetter with the Wolf Publishing Company in Norwood.He enlisted in Cincinnati, Ohio on 15 January 1943 and was sent overseas in December 1943.
His mother was first married to John Wagner.
At the time of his death, his brother Melvin served at Keesler Field, Biloxi, Mississippi.
