More information

Robert N. Cooke was a maintenance painter.

He enlisted in Richmond, Virginia, on 12 November 1941.

Lt Cooke took off from Florennes, Belgium. He climbed into the overcast and came out wrong side up and probably spun in due to disorientation caused by the bad weather. He crashed at 08:30 hrs.

He was initially buried at the Temporary Military Cemetery at Fosse, Belgium, the same day.
