Cpl Robert graham graduated from Colton Union High School in 1939 and was employed at the California Portland Cement Co. and at the Lockheed aircraft plant in Burbank.

He enlisted in Santa Ana, California on 15 March 1943 and was sent overseas in August 1943.

2nd Lt. Jack A. Willard:
"Right engine on fire flak hit. Went down in flames, exploded on the way down. No chutes were seen. We followed it all the way down. Hit was just before the bomb run."
